スカイレールから見る世界自然遺産の熱帯雨林|オーストラリア一人旅 - 自由なバックパッカー海外旅行

ホテルを出て世界自然遺産であるクイーンズランドの湿潤熱帯地域（ウエットトロピックス）の中にある町のクランダ（キュランダ）へ向かった。

クランダへはスカイレールか観光列車クランダ・シーニックレールウェイで行くのがお勧めということを事前に調べていて、ネットで予約しておいた。

スカイレールにアクセスしてオンライン予約が出来る。

行きがスカイレールで帰りがクランダ・シーニックレールウェイで予約した。

以下、間違いだらけの下手くそな英語でのやりとり。

スカイレールの駅に着く時間がはっきり分からんから適当に乗る時間指定してんけど早く着いてもいけますかってな内容。

Thank you for an answer. if we'll early arrive at the station, can we take early skyrail? I don't understand what time can we go. Because we'll arrive at the airport at 9:00AM that day. And then we'll go there. We have to pay money when we arrive there?

Thank you for your email. Your Skyrail departure is booked for 1145, However if you do arrive early you may be able to change your travel time depending on the availability. Please advise our reservations department if you would like to change your travel time. Kind regards,

こんな感じで予約しててんけど、スカイレールの乗り場のカラボニカレイクスまでタクシーで行き、予想通り早く着いてんけど受付に確認するとすんなりＯＫ。

まぁ予約せんでも絶対いけたと思うけど。

このスカイレールは世界第２位の長さを誇るゴンドラ式ロープウェイで、
眼下に世界遺産の熱帯雨林を眺めれるというもの。

このクイーンズランドの湿潤熱帯地域（ウエットトロピックス）は世界最古の森で期限は１億数千万年前らしく、めちゃめちゃ広大な熱帯雨林が広がってて、恐竜が出てきそうな感じで大自然にビックリやった。

やっぱり実際現地に着いて行動を始めると、飛行機での長旅の疲れが吹っ飛んで観光に力が入り出す。
